Dr. Zack Goettsche grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdepartmental Studies. Thereafter, he attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he completed an endodontic Residency at the University of Iowa. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University where he educates dental students in the Endodontics Department.
Dr. Goettsche is committed to providing excellent endodontic care and focuses on a personalized patient experience that provides both comfort and satisfaction. He is working towards his goal of becoming a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics and is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. He is currently serving as Vice President of the Johnson County Dental Society.
In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and his wife, Lainee, who is a Dermatology resident at the University of Iowa. Additionally, he has taken up running, and is running for the JDRF charity team in the Chicago Marathon this October.
